An important part of your carreer planning are the expenses that you have to calculate with.

At first we would like to warn you:

We all have seen offers of IDC centre which offer IDCs for 499,- € or even less. On the first glimpse it seems to be a good bargain. But, do you really think that a highly qualified PADI course director, who payed more than 20.000,- € in his trainings will provide you with a 9 day IDC for the price of an OWD course? For sure not! He will charge you for every extra training hour that you need to pass the IDC and IE. And believe our experience. You will need quite e few of them. So in the end a "cheap" IDC will be more expensive for you.

The IDC ACADEMY offers you a fixed price with no hidden costs:

IDC, 9 days:                                      999,- €.
(This is the normal PADI IDC, which is perfectly enough for part time instructors who do not want to make a living out of diving)

Carreer IDC course, 12 days       1499,- €
Carreer IDC course with RYA powerboat level 2 course                                 1999,- €

These are the IDCs which qualify you as targeted instructor who will have advantages finding qualified jobs.

After the normal IDC and your successful IE your career programm will start with courses about:

- selling techniques for equipment and dive courses
- how to market yourself in the dive industry
- seamanship and seasurvival for instructors
- equipment repair skills
- dive center management basics
and if chosen the two day RYA powerboat level 2 course

By paying the course fees for the IDC we give you the guarantee you that you will pass (assumed you do as you are told) no matter how many theoratical and practical presentations you need to reach the passing score.

What we expect from you before beginning:

- Your skills on level 3,5 average.
- Passing the Assistent Instructor
  exams with at least 80% in the 5

After every IDC there is a two day IE, (Instructor Evaluation) during which an independent PADI examiner checks your abilities. This program includes an academic and a practical part.
