THE DIVE CENTRE MANAGEMENT COURSE
 

Dive Centre Management Course

This course will provide you with all the knowledge you need to have to be successful as Divecentre Manager. It is an important component of your resume when you apply for work as manager anywhere in the world. This course is ideal for those who wish to receive more in-depth training after their IDC. It is a training in an existing and running successful Dive Centre, in side a 5* Hotel with real life customers, students and staff.

Course overview:

* planning of courses, scheduling and promotion
* trips and experience program planning, scheduling and promotion
* scheduling of human resources
* guest reception and counseling
* management and maintenance of the workshop and scheduling repairs
* cash management: reporting, billing and accounting
* contracts and job descriptions - rights and obligations
* liability - legal responsibility and defensive measures

Duration and structure of the course

We think that it is important for you to get an inside view into a well organized DC, to really understand the processes and problems which might occur. That is why the course will last almost three weeks. During 20 days you will be part of the team, you might even go diving to see what the organisation on the boat or dive site has to be like. For the time of your stay you will be accomodated in a shared room and have full board in the hotel.
